Baruch Ata Adonai, Elohaynu Melech ha-Olam, she-he-che-ya-nu v’kee-ma-nu v’hee-gee-ah-nu laz-man ha-zeh!

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has granted us life and sustained us and permitted us to reach this season!

God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, righteous and holy Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, we acknowledge that children are a gift from You; the fruit of the womb is a reward that You give. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man and woman whose quiver is full of them! May XXX and YYY always rejoice in this child, as it is written: Let your parents be happy; let your mother thrill for joy.

Psalm 139

Participant: O Lord, You have searched me and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways.

Same or other participant: Before a word is on my tongue You know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in – behind and before; You have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

Same or other participant: Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the Heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.

Same or other participant: If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me”, even the darkness will not be dark to You; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to You.

Same or other participant: For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the Earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.

Same or other participant: How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

Same or other participant: Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Officiant: May He who blessed our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, bless XXX and YYY and this daughter born to them. May her name be known in Israel as ZZZ, daughter of XXX and YYY. Adon Olam, Ruler of Heaven and Earth, sustain ZZZ for her father and mother!

May ZZZ fulfill her name. May she always be like (add prayers related to her name, examples of others who share the same name).

In Your great mercy, O Lord our God, give ZZZ a pure and holy heart to know You and serve you all the days of her life. May she become great in Your Torah. May she understand Your Word, to learn and teach, keep and practice it. May she enter into a life of good deeds, and if it be Your will, a good marriage. May she enter into the New Covenant and the salvation found in Messiah Yeshua. May she grow up to be a faithful daughter who forever remains within Your house. May she be blessed in this life and be rewarded with eternal life in the world to come! ZZZ, the Son of God assured us that the kingdom of God belongs you those like you!

Now that ZZZ, is with them, may XXX and YYY become even more so people of spiritual disciplines and prayer, praying for their child’s health and well-being both now and throughout her life, for their own wisdom in raising her as well. And may they receive from You answers to their prayers as beautiful and as tangible as this child they now hold in their arms.

O Lord our God, may ZZZ grow up in a home truly centered on You. May XXX and YYY talk about You and Your Word when they sit down and when they rise up, when they go out and when they come in, and may they teach your ways diligently to their daughter, not only by what they say, but more so by how they live.

May Messiah Yeshua be so central to their thinking and their doing, that ZZZ will find it a most natural thing to follow in the footsteps of their faith in You. Strengthen them, correct them, and lead them that they might nurture and raise ZZZ to love and serve You. Do this for Your grace and mercy’s sake. Do this for the sake of Your name. Do this for the glory of Your Son!

XXX: There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides Him; there is no Rock like our God. Our hearts rejoice in the Lord; in the Lord our strength is lifted high. The Lord brings death and gives life; He brings down to the grave and raises up. He will guard the feet of his people, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness. It is not by strength that people prevail; those who oppose the Lord will be shattered. Blessed be the great and mighty God who has shown His kindness to us by giving us this beautiful girl. O magnify the Lord with us, and let us exalt His name together!

YYY: O great, mighty and revered God, Living God, God of Israel, I publically thank You for all the good things you have done for me. You have given me a husband and a beautiful daughter. You helped me through a long and difficult labor. Strengthen and uphold me together with my new husband, that we may raise our daughter to know You and serve You in truth, and to walk in the path of righteousness. Watch over, guard, protect and keep her in all her ways. Favor her with knowledge, understanding and discernment, and let her embrace You and Your Word and Your Messiah, so that she might sanctify Your great name and be a comfort to us.  May my prayer come to You at an acceptable time. O Living God, in the abundance of Your love, answer me with Your sure salvation!

XXX and YYY: In the presence of family and friends, we praise, extol, and thank the Creator for the new life He has entrusted to us. With His help we will love and provide for ZZZ to the best of our ability. We dedicate ourselves to the holy task of nurturing our daughter in the knowledge of God, of His Scriptures, and of Yeshua our King and Messiah, as we draw strength from the Three-In-One God.

Officiant: May He who blessed the fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and brought a Savior to their children, may He bless ZZZ who was named and dedicated to the living and eternal God this day.

XXX, YYY and ZZZ, may the Lord, bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His face on you, and give you peace. May Your grace and favor and blessing, our Father and our King, rest upon this family all the days of their lives! Amen.
